Terms & Conditions
Last updated: October 2026
These terms apply to the air conditioning supply, installation, servicing and repair work carried out by Climate In Check (“we”, “us”). By accepting a quote or booking work with us, you agree to these terms.
1. Quotes
Quotes are based on the information available at the time of survey or enquiry and are valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise. If we find something on the day that could not reasonably have been seen beforehand, we will explain it and agree any extra cost with you before carrying out additional work.
2. Booking and access
We will agree a date and time with you. Please make sure we have safe access to the property, the work areas and a suitable power supply. If we cannot gain access at the agreed time, we may need to rearrange and a call-out charge may apply.
3. Your responsibilities
You are responsible for obtaining any landlord, freeholder or management company permission needed for the work, and for telling us about any hidden pipes, cables or other hazards you are aware of. Where planning permission or other consent may be required, we can advise, but obtaining it remains your responsibility.
4. Payment
Payment terms will be shown on your quote or invoice. A deposit may be required before equipment is ordered. Ownership of equipment supplied remains with us until it has been paid for in full.
5. Guarantees and warranties
Equipment is covered by the manufacturer's warranty, subject to the manufacturer's terms – which usually require the system to be serviced regularly. We will put right any fault caused by our workmanship. Warranties do not cover damage caused by misuse, accidental damage, or work carried out by others.
6. Liability
We carry out all work with reasonable care and skill. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or any other liability that cannot be limited by law. Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected.
7. Cancellations
If you are a consumer and you agree to work away from our premises, you may have the right to cancel within 14 days under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. If you ask us to start work within that period and then cancel, you may have to pay for work already carried out and any equipment ordered specifically for you.
8. Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you have any questions or concerns about our work, please call us on 07506 186446 or message us on WhatsApp and we will do our best to put things right.
